This is something we SHOULD probably disassemble at some point, it basically the front clip with the "eye sockets" LOL, I mean the headlight assembly.... It will need to be blasted and painted/powder coated before going back onto the car.
I mean we literally have 4 different car parts in there, the 65 Fury, the 70 Coronet, the 300 donor car parts and a few from the 66 Charger.....
So here is the offending fender!! LOL, it was easier to take off than the drivers side and NO creepy spiderwebs...
After we managed that, we took off the hood:
You may remember I have the "Power Bulge" hood in storage that needs a little work, but we are not so sure if the PB will "fit" with the 6.1 Hemi, so I will keep the flat hood as spare parts for now!

Hood hinges
Hoodless horseman!! LOL!!
We obviously left the passenger side door and glass alone for right now. After the drivers' glass incident, I think it best we leave to another day! With most of the front end now in storage, we were able to push the Coronet in even farther giving us MUCH needed breathing room in the garage....
Because.....
Joe has purchased a 6 speed manual transmission that is on its way from Texas!!!! It came out of a newer Dodge Challenger and should bolt right up to the 6.1 Hemi.... that leaves the problem of the donor car being AWD and as we understand it, AWD is NOT compatible with manual transmissions, BUT I don't drive automatics!!!
