While Joe was REALLY hoping to have the Fury finished first or by now; unfortunately, it is still in the body shop. It DOES have the first coat of black paint on it and looks amazing but is no where near completion. The Fury does still need interior done before it is road and show ready. In the meantime, we have been driving the Charger and when we got it we knew the interior needed to be replaced, but it is more evident as regular wear and tear meets deteriorating, aging foam, carpet and other interior surfaces.
I convinced Joe that since we drive this car (all over) we deserve to be comfortable in the car. Grudgingly he agreed!! It will also need a good paint job, which is still up for discussion, but at least we are going to be comfortable!
I used my new Fish Eye Macro lens for some of photos, so if they look like they are melting towards the edges, it is supposed to! Here is the dash:
Here is the back seat area:
The VERY perished driver's seat:
And passenger's seat:
So we are scheduled to start work after the first of the year, so stay tuned for the "after" pictures!!!
