Dear Friends,
As mentioned in the last post, our little cat Minion is having difficulty with his bones in his feet. We are temporarily stopping work on the Coronet due to his surgery and probably second surgery in the next couple weeks. We've already cancelled one trip due to his health and he is such a sweet kitty!!!
We will resume work and post more pictures once the little guy is close to 100%.

Plant City car show
So we were SUPPOSED to go to the Mega Mopar show in Madison Illinois, but since Minion had to have surgery on his foot, we had to cancel those plans.
Instead we took the Charger to Plant City, FL and found out that "May is Mopar Month"!!!! So their once a month car show showcased more mopars than usual!!!
Here are some really awesome mopars:
and some non-mopars
And THEN I got "artsy" with the camera....
And a VERY special mention to a 1925 Model A "pick up"
and a 1909 Sears "horseless carriage" which was almost impossible to photograph due to the crowds around them....
Again, some files are VERY large so you can click on the photo itself to view the full size, but be patient!!! they take a while to load!

Hubby was busy...
While I was busy sewing this weekend, Joe took matters into his own hands and continued to disassemble the Coronet.
He took the radiator off and air conditioning condenser off:
Here is the air conditioner compressor
Last time he took off the air cleaner and alternator off so here are more pictures of the top of the motor
Once he took the heater core off we got our first glimpse of the firewall and surprisingly enough, it is not as rusted as some bits of the car....
AND I am so pleased to report that so far nothing else has been broken!!! Including the very difficult to replace wiring harnesses for the front headlights. Hopefully they will be able to either splice into the 6.1 main harness or plug right in... wouldn't that be nice!!
